Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is recognized for her performances as the lead in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) and Precious (a drama). Her birthplace was in the middle class family located in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. She was raised by a mother who loved to watch movies. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and was particularly drawn to the dramatic arts. She was a huge fan of acting with her friends and participated in school's stage shows. She acted in many productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. She was enrolled at the University of Southern California in the summer program, and loved her time there. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to make documentaries for a period of three months. As soon as she completed her three-month task successfully the first task was working in the production department for television documentaries. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Even though she loved what she did however, she always wanted acting roles. Her acting debut came with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared on many TV and film shows.
